The purpose of PennDOT's highway safety and traffic operations is to provide leadership, guidance, and support for advancing effective highway safety and congestion management efforts to meet the needs of the public and our partners.
Just Drive PA is a program that encourages motorists to avoid life-threatening behaviors such as not wearing a seat belt, driving impaired and driving aggressively. With nearly 1,500 people losing their lives in traffic crashes in Pennsylvania each year, this is of the utmost necessity.
Everyone can help make a difference for highway safety by simply remembering to “Just Drive PA.”
